Experimental Semester

 

This semester has been very different. I really wanted to have the normal class because this semester is complete practical. The class is specifically about audiovisual work, ending the semester with a group short film.

Despite the experimental semester,  the most I liked was doing a storyboard from a movie.

I had a lot of anxiety because I didn’t draw in so much time. I felt insecure for doing something new and present it through of zoom’s platform.

I really liked to understand the process but I never had previous knowledge and it’s the first approach in the cinema work. It’s a occult process and usually we only see the results and forgot the movies’s production. I think I like because I enjoy more the process that the result. 

Although it is a simple exercise, it was difficult to incorporate the camera lenguaje because is a new form of see the cinematographic world.

The storyboard that I did is of Spanish movie “Lengua de las Mariposas”, from the director Jose Luis Cuerda. This film talks about the role of education in the Second Spanish Republic and subsequent the Franco dictatorship
